this is who I am

What’s up? I’m a designer that lives in the south Seattle area. Let’s say Burien.

I enjoy all the design-y things like home improvement, interior design, gardening and landscaping. I enjoy all the typical Seattle things too: coffee in unhealthy amounts, hiking and camping, Husky football games, cooking, eating, craft beers and cocktails, and awkward social interaction (a Seattle mainstay).

why i do this

I’ve worked in design and marketing for 20 years. Way before that I was a weird kid that designed logos for imaginary companies and brands using MacPaint on the newly introduced Macintosh.

To keep the creative juices flowing at various marketing jobs, I started designing announcements and cards for friends and family that were getting married or having children at an alarming frequency.

For my last ten years of employment, I worked at a fast growing tile distribution company. There I did everything marketing related - project management, product photography, illustration, web design, merchandising - while also acting as the IT manager. Oy. I finally realized that I needed to focus purely on design and marketing and so here I am.
